DSH PRO is a free desktop app built on DeepSeek Harness, the open-source agent engine from DeepSeek. It adds account sign-in, an embedded browser, a file editor, and local usage analytics. It is an independent project by ByteForward, not an official DeepSeek app.
Yes. DSH PRO has no subscription or paid tier. AI providers may charge for their services; you use your own supported account, API key, or local model.
Mac builds are available for Apple Silicon and Intel on macOS 11 or later. Linux is available as an x86-64 AppImage for glibc distributions. Windows support is in the works.
The Accounts panel supports sign-in for ChatGPT, Grok, Kimi, and OpenRouter, as well as API keys. Availability and limits depend on the provider and your plan. Some sign-in screens name the provider’s CLI client used by the underlying harness.
Yes. Start Ollama or LM Studio on your computer. DSH PRO detects supported local servers and adds their models to the picker.
Workspace files and session logs live on your machine. When you use a cloud model, the prompts and context needed for the task go directly to your selected provider. DSH PRO does not run a proxy service for your work. Read our privacy policy for details.
